Frappato is often associated with the Docg Cerasuolo di Vittoria, in which it plays second fiddle to Nero d’Avola. Here, as a soloist, it offers a great example of a modern, lighter-weight Italian red, with a basketful of cherries, raspberries and fresh flowers. Very expressive and complex, it is both silky and refined.
