A fascinating wine, combining butterscotch, fig and fresh apple. Despite having significant levels of alcohol, it is surprisingly slender with linear acidity that brilliantly gives it balance. Deeply structured. It has a very long, pleasingly earthy finish. A very particular style where maturation adds elegance and substance.
