Deep ruby in color. A powerful, ageable, but expressive example of Cannonau. On the nose, deep dark red fruits, medicinal herbs, dried figs, prune, sweet spices and savory meat. On the palate, lovely leathery tannins add freshness to the wine. This has the structure and depth to develop further, and will reward 5–10 years of cellaring handsomely.
